Forgot the Santa letter? That doesn’t make you behind it makes you human. Your child won’t remember every tradition, but they’ll remember how you made them feel: safe, loved, and supported through a busy season. That’s the magic.

Who We Are

Welcome to Raising Them Rooted, a blog for the moms doing all the things from packing daycare snacks to researching reflux at 2am. I’m Dr. Leah, a pediatric chiropractor, mama to three boys in my arms, two in my heart, married to my high school sweetheart who’s also a small-town Iowa farmer. I’m raising wild-hearted boys in muddy boots while running a practice that helps other families feel calmer, stronger, and more connected.

I believe motherhood and health aren’t meant to be lived in survival mode. And I believe in the power of faith, the kind that keeps you steady when life is anything but. At Vive, we’re rooted in our belief that families deserve support that sees the whole child (and the whole mama too).

This blog is where I share what I’ve learned from both sides of the adjusting table — as a provider and as a mama in the thick of it. From colic and constipation to milestones and meltdowns, consider this your trusted space for answers, support, and real talk. Whether your child is thriving and you want to support that, or they’re struggling and you're searching for answers you're in the right place.

Let’s raise them rooted, in nervous system regulation, in love, in God, and in faith that we’re doing a pretty good job.
